Monti Sibillini National Park
The Sibillini Mountains Park is defined as "magical" and "wild" and includes the mountain area of the same name. The highest peak of the mountain system is Mount Vettore, which reaches 2476 meters; the landscape of this area, therefore, is typical of the high mountains in which gentle slopes alternate with rugged rocky ridges. The territory, considered the kingdom of the mythical "Sibyl," is a unique reality thanks to the unrepeatable symbiosis of history, nature, culture, and magic.

Trasimeno Lake
It’s the fourth-largest lake in the peninsula. There are three islands in its waters accessible by ferry: the Polvese island, home to various species of birds and amphibians, the Maggiore island, the only permanently populated one, and the Minore island, covered by dense forest vegetation. Along the lake shores is the pretty medieval village of Passignano sul Trasimeno with its Rocca, which houses the Museum of Boats, and the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of the Miracles. On the opposite side is Castiglione del Lago, of Etruscan foundation.

Alviano Lake
It is an important protected natural area in Umbria, established in 1963 following the damming of the Tiber River. The oasis, managed by the WWF, covers about 900 hectares near Terni and is considered a true paradise for birdwatching. Over 250 species of birds have been recorded here, including herons, cormorants, marsh harriers, and numerous migratory species that find refuge among reeds and wetlands. A circular nature trail, partly accessible, allows you to explore the area through observatories and camouflaged huts, offering an immersive experience in the biodiversity of the area. Lake Alviano is an ideal destination for those who want to experience a more authentic and wild Umbria.
