UNESCO SITES

Awarded the title of Unesco World Heritage sites, these treasures offer unique experiences you do not want to miss.

  • The Arena Verona

The Arena is Verona’s most famous landmark and it is the most visited monument by tourists from all over the world. The amphitheatre was built in the first half of the 1st century A.D., the period which marked the end of Augustus’ reign and the beginning of Claudius’s. It is the third largest amphitheatre in Italy, after the Colosseum and the Amphitheatre of Capua.

  • Peschiera del Garda

Peschiera is built on a series of small islands and it’s surrounded by massive defensive walls. The walls – thick and sturdy – seem to grow from the bottom of the lake. The impression they give and their historical value, are so unique that they allowed Peschiera del Garda to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
