Grapperia Nardini

 

The oldest distillery in Italy, opened in 1775.  Today production has moved out of the center but Grapperia Nardini is still a symbol of Bassano and a popular meeting place for the locals.  You can enjoy  a drink called "mezzo e mezzo", a typical aperitif,  in the historic rooms of the grapperia, warm and welcoming, with exposed beams, wooden floors and other details that recreate an atmosphere of other times.

 
 
 

Museo della Grappa Poli

 

The museum is curated by Poli Distillerie, another historic brand in Vicenza. Set up in an elegant building, the Poli Grappa Museum consists of five rooms that trace the history of distillation from medieval alchemists to the present day.; a section is entirely dedicated to the production of grappa in Bassano. On display you will find stills, grappa mignon, tools for the production of grappa and more. You can also test your skills as a grappa taster with special olfactometers.

 The Veneto Region includes, within it, another large region, which is the wine one.  The main Wine districts are Valpolicella, Soave, Lugana, Colli berici, Conegliano Valdobbiadene. In these districts you can find the best varieties of wines.  Among the best wines from Veneto we can mention important wines such as Amarone della Valpolicella, Soave, Lugana, Lessini Durello, Colli Euganei , Bardolino and Prosecco.
